As 2016 is coming to a close, I want to thank all our board members, board of directors, members, sponsors, and the community for a successful year. In December of 2015, Women of Today’s Manufacturing (WOTM) accepted a challenge through the Community Foundation of Northern Illinois (CFNIL) to raise $1,000 through our 50/50 raffles — we are proud to announce that thanks to all who helped, we not only met but exceeded that goal! We raised $1,443 and the CFNIL will match the 1st $1,000. Our dinner events, plant tours, annual fundraiser, golf outing, and Rockford Chamber of Commerce Manufacturing Expo all helped to impact the community by raising funds for the scholarships we award annually and networking opportunities. The proceeds from these events also will help our local FIRST Robotics Competition teams and Rock River Robotics Off-Season Compeition (R2OC). Please make sure to mark your calendar for our Member Appreciation Dinner that is complimentary at Forest Hills Country Club December 8th, 2016 at 5:30. This year we will be collecting school supplies for a local school in need! Please check back for more details!
Thank you for making WOTM a success!
