At the beginning of 2019 the state of IL became the 11th state to legalize the sales and recreational use of marijuana for adults.
The HB 1438 cannabis and regulation and tax act was passed by the state legislature on June 6th of 2019 and then signed into law by the governor on June 25 of 2019.
This has caused some concern among manufacturers in regards to safety and productivity.
